High season for golf is definitely the shoulder season. Fantastic weather. Spring: March, April, May and in the fall, Sept. Oct. Nov. Rates range from $49 for golf just off the island in Bluffton and $262 for the high rate on-island.

Hotel rates run the gamut from limited service properties at $69 per night to oceanfront 8 bedroom homes that lease for 2000+ per month. Golf “buddy” groups are encouraged to check into renting a private villa. Most properties offer golf packages from the Holiday Inn oceanfront to the upscale Westin and Inn at Harbour Town.

Pinehurst

Rates in the area vary between $150-300 for a 3 day 2 night golf package
out of season and $110 - 400 for the same package in peak season. Note these rates do not include Pinehurst Resort. There you must call for rates.
